What Liberty League has done for me

I joined Liberty League International 3 years ago because I saw an opportunity to make the kind of money that brings real financial freedom, and because it is a personal development company and just 6 months prior I had been introduced to personal development.  I listened to the 25 minute business overview, was very interested but still skeptical, then went to study the website.  I was blown away!  I wanted what these people have.  They not only had achieved financial freedom, they were happy, at peace, and had purpose.  

Thank God I took the plunge and joined.  I bought all three products within my first 12 days in business.  It was an investment that has paid off in so many wonderful ways - not just financially, but more importantly, this company has changed my life for the better in such a powerful way..

When a person joins LLI, they don't just receive the rights to market the business and products.  They join a community of like minded individuals that inspire and educate and build each other up to be the best that we each can be.  I've been with a few other business opportunities, and I have seen nothing like this!  Everyday via conference call we join in and listen to some training.  These lessons can be applied to any area of life - not just the business.  And it has been this aspect of LLI that has influenced me and changed me the most - and for which I am most grateful.

There is one thing that perhaps stands out more than any other lesson I have learned - and that is to be grateful no matter what.  In a nutshell, this is the key.  Funny and ironic is the fact that although I have been a Christian most of my life, and that the bible clearly says "rejoice always" (Phil.4:4) and to give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thes. 5:18), I just didn't get it.  My life started to be "going nowhere" in my 30's.  I struggled against my circumstances for a long time - and I complained a lot!  Things got worse and worse.  I wondered where God was and why he didn't answer my prayers.  I was definitely praying.  But my prayers were the "why isn't this working" type - which I have since learned is the very reason why they didn't work!!

Being connected to a very wonderful, wise, prosperous minded community that teaches people how to be wealthy in every sense of the word helped me find myself, discover my purpose/destiny and gave me the tools to achieve my dreams.  

Just some of the ways I have changed:  I don't complain anymore!  I remember to listen and really seek to understand and hear people.  I believe in myself, and love myself and allow myself to be me and not worry what others think of me.  (that's huge, by the way)!  I have confidence!  I understand goal setting and focus and being consistent.  I discovered what "be, do, have" means and I'm learning to make that a habitual way of being.  I get it about being consistent and not loosing sight of my destination.  But most importantly - and this took time and healing - I got clear on my relationship with God.  I have rid myself of debilitating doubt.  

One of my favorite and most powerful quotes I have heard within the LLI community is "I see only my objective, the obstacles must yield".  It was originally from Napoleon Bonaparte.  Who knows if he made it up or heard if from one of his mentors...that is how wisdom is past on from generation to generation.  I heard it from my mentor and advisor, John McDermott, who is one of the top income earners in LLI, and one of the two in the LLI Hall of Fame.  

I want to share Liberty League International with everyone!  I am so grateful, everyday, that a friend of a friend introduced me to LLI.  I was not even looking for a business!!  But it found me because it was the answer to my cries for help.
