I'm working it!

Hi again. Long time 'eh? I was a bit frustrated with this blogsite, because in my ineptitude of understanding how to work my computer, I couldn't seem to post a friggin' photo on this site. Nonetheless, I have much to write about. And I am continuing to work on figuring how to post the wonderful photos I have.

I've also been working a bit on updating my myspace page. www.myspace.com/rhinoheartindustries
I figured out how to put up a song I like. I have a buddie who is going to be a phenomenal A-List director some day and I'm working on getting one of his videos on my site too.

I've started singing again. Working on my vocal chords the way an athlete works on muscle training, skill, etc. I'm focusing on The Standards. Ella Fitsgerald is my favorite artist. My favorite song? Oh come on! Is there such a thing? Can there be when there are so many to choose from? Okay, I'll try. "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", "When Time Goes By", "The Rose", "Summertime", "Too Marvelous For Words"...

I dance. I love to dance. Have you heard of "ecstatic dance", or improve or intuitive dance? I go on Sunday mornings to a group dance - the organizer DJ's all kinds of music, and we dance. We move our bodies in whatever way we feel...some are very talented dancers, some can hardly keep a beat, but the point is to let yourself loose and dance. Sound refreshing? www.dancemomentum.com will give you a greater idea...

Okay, I'm going to try to post the photos. I've got one of the dance place. Here goes...

The Sun Is Always Shining

No matter how many clouds fill the skies, the sun is always shining.

I heard that recently on one of the many self-development CD's I listen to while driving. Living in Oregon, the sun is often hidden behind dew dripping formations in the upper atmosphere. Clouds. Which, by the way, are one of my favorite things to stare up at - preferably from a blanket in a park on a warm summer day when it is not raining.

Yet rain makes everything green. Okay - I love green too. That's why I live in Oregon.

Today it is cloudy - one of those common days when the clouds (plural) tend to stretch far and wide and appear to be one LONNNNNGGGGG cloud. I am thankful it is dry, however. I'm not particial to much rain. We'll talk about that later.

I love the sunshine, and I love being happy. Happiness is a choice - so said Ann Franks' Father to Ann while they were in hiding.

Today, I choose to be happy!

Oh, by the way, this is my fist post on my first blog. Welcome to my site. :)
